UV Blanket Kalani

5 Smart Tips on How to Use Our UV Blanket with Snap Buttons!

The foundation of Kalani is our innovative and smart UV blanket. As parents, we struggled to protect our little ones in the stroller – especially when ordinary blankets kept blowing away. That’s when we realized there should be a blanket that not only provides UV sun protection but also attaches securely to the stroller. We were convinced that other parents would benefit from this idea as much as we did, and that’s how Kalani was born.

Our UV blanket is made from ultra-thin, breathable high-tech fabrics, and it feels incredibly soft and gentle on the skin. We’re very proud of this innovative product, and here are our top 5 favorite ways to use the UV blanket (in no particular order):

1. Attach the UV blanket to your stroller

The blanket can be fastened in many creative ways! Not only does it work as a regular baby blanket, but it also offers sun protection with UPF 50+ to keep your child safe from harmful rays.

2. Protect arms and legs in the baby carrier

Snap the UV blanket onto your baby carrier to shield your little one’s arms and legs from direct sunlight. (See image in post for inspiration.)

3. Use as a nursing cover

Thanks to the snap buttons, the blanket won’t slip off while breastfeeding – super practical! Of course, you can also use it indoors as a cozy nursing cover.

4. Create instant shade outdoors

Need quick shade for your baby? Simply fasten the blanket between two points – like a stroller, chair, or even a tree branch – to make a sunshade canopy or wall. Perfect for the park, beach, or backyard.

5. Use the UV blanket as a car sunshade

Did you know that some UV rays pass through car windows? Sunlight also often shines directly into little eyes while driving. Attach the blanket between the car handle and another point to create a simple and effective sunshield in the car.

Of course, there are many other ways to use the blanket, but these are our top 5. You can even protect yourself by carrying the UV blanket in your bag and draping it over your shoulders when sitting in the sun. 🌞
